- What processes and materials do you offer?
- CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing, injection molding, die casting, and vacuum casting, across a broad range of metals, engineering plastics, and finishes. If you are unsure which process fits, our DFM review recommends one.
- How will I know the status of my order?
- You are never left guessing. We share frequent status updates, photos, and short videos as your part moves through production, and you can track every milestone in one place. Message us anytime and get a real answer quickly.
- How does quoting work?
- Upload your CAD files and specs, and we measure your model against per-process, per-material rules and run a manufacturing-location analysis before pricing. Your quote reflects how the part will actually be made, not a rough estimate.
- Do I have to deal with customs, duties, or import paperwork?
- For delivery in the US, no. We quote delivered duty paid (DDP): one all-in price with export, duties, and shipping to your door included, so there is nothing for you to handle. Outside the US we quote delivered at place (DAP) by default, because you have to be the importer of record to reclaim import VAT or GST. Either term is available wherever you are.
- What are your lead times?
- Lead time depends on the part, process, and volume. Because we optimize where each part is made and manufacture overseas, every quote includes an estimated delivery date up front, so you know the expected schedule before you approve.
- How do you make sure parts meet spec?
- Every part goes through in-process checks and first-article inspection against your drawings before it ships, and a final inspection report is included with every order at no extra charge.
- Where is MASA FabWorks based, and who will I work with?
- MASA FabWorks is a US-based company. You work directly with a responsive team in your time zone that collaborates closely on your parts and stays accountable from first quote through delivery.
- Where are parts manufactured?
- We manufacture in India and China, matching each part to the most capable, cost-effective path. Every order includes in-process and first-article inspection.
- Is my design confidential?
- Yes. Your files and design data are treated as confidential and used only to quote and produce your parts. They are hosted on enterprise infrastructure certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, with GDPR-compliant data handling.
- What quantities do you support?
- There is no minimum order quantity: a single prototype is a valid order, and so is a production run. For molded and die-cast parts, tooling is quoted with your project, so very small quantities carry that tooling cost. The same team carries your part from first article through volume, so you are not re-sourcing as you scale.
